Biography of Lois Brezinski

College and Early Years:

Lois graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, after which she enjoyed several years of freelance design work including fashion illustration, mural paintings and toy design. Afterwards she opened a textile studio becoming one of the leading fabric artists working in the New York industry. 

Cayman Islands:
During a vacation to the Cayman Islands Lois discovered a love of the tropics and began painting the colors and light that fascinated her. Soon, her textile business evolved blissfully into a life of painting. In the Caymans, several galleries represent Lois and her business, Cayman Colors, thrives selling reproductions of her art to major gift shops and hotels. The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands includes Lois’s work in their permanent collection and the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman displays five commissioned watercolors in their lobby.

Return to the US:
Returning to the States, her work was discovered by PI Fine Art of Toronto where over twenty of her paintings are catalogued and published. Lois’ published work is seen throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and the Bahamian and Trinidad US Embassies, Marriott Hotels, the Atlantis condominium in the Bahamas and recently in Home Goods stores in South Florida. 
Recently, Lois was commissioned to paint an original watercolor of the Breakers Hotel. Over 80 of the newly renovated rooms feature this painting along with other prints by the artist.

Delray Beach Residence:
Lois currently resides in Delray Beach where her artwork was selected for the Delray Affair poster for three consecutive years. “The Historic Homes of Delray Beach” calendars of 2005 and 2006 featured her original watercolors of historic homes and as been sold out both years. A respect and love of the unique architecture of old Florida leading her to be a founding member of the Delray Beach Preservation Trust which is dedicated to preserving the architectural integrity of older neighborhoods.

Gallery and Downtown West Palm Beach:
The gallery on Clematis Street is on a block recognized by the National Register of Historic Places. It’s her belief that downtown West Palm Beach is experiencing an exciting renaissance and she is pleased to bring her energy, ideas and talent to Clematis Street.
